Our client is looking for a Business Development Director, who is an experienced sales professional with a focus on new business & client acquisition.Role summary: You will be responsible for developing new business and acquiring clients within the technology services space, managing long, complex sales cycles and closing large deals.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales process from initial outreach to contract closure, including independent negotiation and closing of large deals.
Manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and extended lead times.
Articulate value propositions in a consultative sales environment; strong focus on communication, presentation, and negotiation.
Graduate to and maintain a high-performing, self-motivated, results-oriented approach in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in sales with a strong track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
Direct experience selling technology services.
Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
Demonstrated success owning the full sales process from outreach to contract closure; ability to independently negotiate and close large deals.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to articulate value propositions in a consultative environment.
Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Must have
Significant New Business experience selling consulting, services, or enterprise software to senior commercial & C-suite buyers (average deal sizes €300k).
Experience owning a multimillion quota selling in long sales cycles (6-12 months) on a relationship basis.
Experience working in a small to medium-sized business, ideally PE/VC backed, comfortable with ambiguity and doing things yourself.
