Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a User Experience (UX) Manager to lead and shape digital experience strategy across a wide range of platforms and customer touchpoints. This is a permanent role based in Cork, with occasional travel to other locations as required. Reporting to the Head of Digital Product, the UX Manager will play a key role in influencing digital direction at scale, while building a strong design culture and developing a high-performing UX team. Responsibilities What You'll Lead & Inspire Champion a design-led vision, ensuring all digital interactions reflect quality, trust, and customer focus. Lead, mentor, and develop a UX team, fostering an environment that encourages growth, innovation, and high standards. Define and own a UX strategy aligned with long-term organisational objectives. Establish and embed UX governance to drive clarity, consistency, and excellence across products and platforms. Advocate for usability, accessibility, and inclusive design as core principles. Uncover and articulate customer needs through research and insight, identifying meaningful opportunities for improvement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across product, technology, and the wider business. Your Impact In this role, the UX Manager will: Build a deep understanding of how digital products and underlying systems work together. Lead the creation, evolution, and adoption of shared design systems and UX assets. Support and mentor designers, enabling clear development pathways and career progression. Drive a consistent, customer-centred UX approach across the organisation. Lead research initiatives using both data-driven and human-centred methodologies. Experience, Skills & Education The ideal candidate will have: A qualification in IT, design, multimedia, or equivalent professional experience. A UX or HCI-related qualification (desirable). Proven experience leading and developing a UX or design team. At least 3 years' hands-on UX design experience across mobile and web platforms. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills. Solid project management capabilities, with the ability to balance pace and user needs. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS) and mobile app store requirements.
