Job Description
We’re recruiting an experienced Catering Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world‑class customer service, and who can confidently oversee catering and service operations for Gather + Gather Ireland on a full‑time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week, with an annual salary of €45,000. Our office is located in 79 Fitzwilliam Lane, Dublin, D02 V567. Our food ideals set the tone of the business for everyone who comes into contact with it. Using your role to bring our ideals to life is therefore just as important as the specific duties and tasks you will undertake.
Responsibilities
Creating a positive team atmosphere & customer environment.
Configuring counter & display spaces to make them attractive.
Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team.
Cash control, weekly banking, GP control and forecasting.
Handling and organising hospitality and events bookings.
Identify training requirements, develop & progress your team.
Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
Report issues or training needs to your Line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.
Qualifications
A flair for quality customer service.
A love of food & beverages and a knowledge of current trends.
Experience in a restaurant or café in a management capacity.
Strong communication skills.
A friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers.
Follow Group and Company policies and procedures at all times.
