Oncology Day Unit Nurse Job Summary
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Oncology Day Unit Nurse to join a leading private hospital in South Dublin. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to oncology and haematology patients receiving day-case chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receiving chemotherapy have continued access to specialist care, knowledge and expertise.
* The administration of prescribed cytotoxic chemotherapy to oncology patients via cannula, PICC, Hickman or Portacath.
* To administer chemotherapy in accordance with the protocols as set out by the Cancer Centre.
