Elevate the quality of life for older adults in a dynamic multidisciplinary team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. A full clean Irish driving licence and access to a car are required for conducting off-site assessments.
Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload of older adults across medical, surgical, and dementia-related conditions. Comprehensive assessments, tailored intervention plans, promoting independence and safety at home or in community care, collaboration with nursing, medical, and allied health colleagues, and supporting clinical governance and supervising junior OT staff and students are all part of the role.
A CORU-registered Occupational Therapist with minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience is required, ideally including work with older people, stroke, dementia, or post-acute rehabilitation. Confidence in handling complex discharges, cognitive assessments, and assistive technologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
