 
        
        Facilities Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Facilities/Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contracting basis. The initial contract duration is six months.
 * Key Responsibilities:
 * Prepare and review technical and operational documentation to ensure sustainable delivery of utility and facility services.
 * Manage safety procedures for maintenance contractors, utilizing permit-to-work systems and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
 * Review and update computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) procedures to focus on system readiness and resource availability.
 * Support resource estimates and coordination needed for assigned tasks.
 * Plan and conduct small- to medium-size projects within facilities engineering, requiring conventional types of plans, investigations, and/or equipment.
 * Coordinate and monitor project activities under the relevant scope of the role.
 * Review and approve project documentation, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
 * Prepare and execute factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT), as well as installation qualification (IQ) protocols for facilities equipment.
 * Requirements:
 * A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years' experience working within engineering in a regulated GMP/biotech/medical device environment.
 * Understanding of CMMS/asset management strategies and applications.
 * Experience working on ATEX-rated sites is a significant advantage.
