Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Social Care Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing people, driving change, and implementing innovative solutions.
About the Role:
This is a permanent contract position working 39 hours per week. The role involves managing staff, leading by example, and ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Conduct regular visits to services and meet with staff and individuals supported by the services
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in people management
- Proactive approach to leading, driving, and implementing change
- Strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative, and ability to work on own initiative
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
- Relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential and day services to adults with intellectual disabilities
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as required
