Role Overview:
Note: This position is hybrid with a requirement to attend the office on a weekly basis; only candidates with existing work authorisation for Ireland can be considered.
We are seeking a
hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer
to support and enhance the cloud infrastructure behind our platform.
The core systems are already in place, your role will focus on maintaining reliability, managing deployments, improving our pipelines, and making ongoing enhancements across the environment.
You'll be joining a fast-paced startup where you will work closely with engineering to ensure smooth operations, strong performance, and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Support, maintain, and enhance our Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, AKS, Database Servers, Storage Accounts, and Container Registries.
Manage a small set of AWS resources as required.
Infrastructure Optimisation
Continuously review and improve cloud architecture with a focus on performance, cost efficiency, security, and operational scalability.
CI/CD Pipeline Management
Manage and enhance existing CI/CD processes using Jenkins and our artifact repository.
Support development and production environments to ensure consistent deployment workflows.
Deployment & Automation
Deploy new builds to existing customers and set up new customer environments.
Maintain and update Helm charts for Kubernetes.
Observability & Monitoring
Improve and evolve our observability stack, including logging (Graylog), metrics, and traces.
Maintain and refine monitoring and alerting processes to ensure strong reliability and fast incident response.
Resilience & Recovery
Support backup and disaster recovery processes.
Participate in recovery testing to ensure system integrity and uptime.
Identity & Security
Manage identity and access management using Keycloak.
Oversee networking components including VPNs, residential proxies, domains, and SSL certificate.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins) and artifact repositories (Nexus, JFrog, etc.).
Strong interest in automation and building reliable systems.
Understanding of identity management (Keycloak or similar) and networking fundamentals (VPNs, SSL, DNS).
Comfortable working in a busy startup environment where ownership and collaboration are key.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
