About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill a Social Care Worker position in our Kildare region. The successful candidate will join our team of professionals who provide support and care to individuals with autism.
The role involves working closely with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized plans that promote independence, social inclusion, and overall well-being.
As a Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily living assistance, supporting individuals with personal care needs, and promoting their participation in community activities. You will also work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily living assistance to individuals with autism, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
* Support individuals with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Promote participation in community activities, such as leisure groups, education, and employment opportunities.
* Develop and implement personalized plans that promote independence, social inclusion, and overall well-being.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A Level 7 qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
* At least one year of recent experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and engagement skills.
* A thorough understanding of HIQA regulations.
* Ability to promote independence in individuals with support needs.
* A full, clean manual driving license.
