Job Description
The Director, Global Operations Communications will lead the development and execution of communications supporting global quality organization and supply operations.
This individual will champion a culture of quality at operations sites and deliver communications that inspire connection and reinforce critical role in success.
* Drive Strategic Operations Communications: Develop and execute communication strategies that promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and customer service across global operations.
* Develop Executive & Leader Communications: Develop and execute communications plans for senior leaders to drive engagement, visibility and connection with colleagues.
* Enhance Employee Engagement & Communication Effectiveness: Lead the development of an operations communications council bringing together key communicators to drive employee engagement and knowledge sharing.
* Lead Change & Organizational Communications: Provide strategic counsel and develop communications to support organizational announcements and restructuring activities impacting global operations and quality.
* Prepare for and Manage Issues: Proactively prepare for known issues to mitigate impact and refine issues management response strategy.
* Provide prompt and appropriate internal/external communications support in the event of a crisis: Work with operations leaders and corporate teams to provide effective crisis communications.
* Support External Communications: Assist with media inquiries and stay informed of industry news to advise on potential impact and share relevant information.
* Measure Impact & Drive Continuous Improvement: Use metrics and analytics to assess communications effectiveness and improve efforts.
* Collaborate & Align Globally: Serve as a partner with global communications and corporate teams to ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards.
* Travel, as needed, to foster relationships and enhance understanding of operations sites globally: Foster relationships and enhance understanding of operations sites.
* Support Operations-Related Content Creation: Assist with environmental, health, and safety communications and participate in content creation.
* Champion Culture & Corporate Values: Promote values, ethical standards, and commitment to quality and compliance in all communications efforts.
