Were now seeking a dedicated Supervisor to be part of the management team at Coneyboro with passion, professionalism, and positivity.
The Role
As Crèche Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day running of the centre, working closely with the management team and guiding early years educators to maintain high standards of care and education. You will help ensure compliance with Tusla regulations and promote best practice in line with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks. Roles and Responsibilities
1. Support the team in delivering high-quality, child-centred care and education.
2. Assist in ensuring compliance with Tusla regulations and the Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
3. Help coordinate daily operations, including staffing support, rosters, and accurate record-keeping.
4. Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
5. Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies.
6. Support curriculum planning, observations, and monitoring childrens developmental progress.
7. Promote and uphold best practice in safeguarding, health, and safety at all times.
8. Assist in staff training, ongoing development, and providing feedback to support performance.
The successful candidate must have
9. A minimum Level 6 qualification (QQI or equivalent) in Early Childhood Care and Education.
10. Supervisor experience desirable
11. Strong knowledge of Tusla Early Years Regulations, Aistear, and Síolta frameworks.
12. Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
13. A passion for early childhood education and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred care.
14. The ability to support, motivate, and guide a team in a positive and professional manner.
15. A thorough understanding of Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children.
16. Up-to-date First Aid, Manual Handling, and Child Protection training (or willingness to complete if required).
