Setting Out Engineer Job Opportunity
Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting setting out work on large-scale residential development projects. This will involve ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards, supporting the Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure that works are completed as per programme, and liaising with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, in house quantity surveyors in reviewing monthly valuations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct your work in a safe manner.
* Support the Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure that works are completed as per programme.
* Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, in house quantity surveyors in reviewing monthly valuations.
* Assume day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements.
* Ensure quality control measures on the site are implemented.
Requirements:
* Hold a relevant construction/engineering qualification.
* Have 4+ years previous setting out experience on large-scale residential developments projects in a similar role.
* Be competent in using AutoCAD.
* Have knowledge of BCAR & Irish Water document submissions.
* Be able to work on own initiative.
* Be self-motivated and a hard worker.
* Have strong team building skills.
* Be analytical and have decision-making skills.
* Have strong budgeting and financial management skills.
* Have excellent written and oral presentation skills.

€45K-€65K negotiable dependent on experience & qualifications, vehicle, laptop, phone.
