UNILIN is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality and Environmental Co-ordinator to join our team. Job: Quality and Environmental Co-ordinator
Reporting To: Quality, Environmental, Training and CI Manager
Key tasks and Duties:
Documentation and Quality
* Be the point-of-contact person who retains ownership of the SharePoint 'Group Documentation' for Irl/Uk, and co-ordinates and manages access for others to add, revise, or review documents, across our 4 sites.
* Have responsibility for the administration and upkeep of records related to our Quality Control/ISO 9001 system requirements, that incorporates our Training Matrix, Internal Audit schedule, Calibration log, and CAPA log.
* Participate in ISO Internal Audits as required, for Navan and Ballyconnell.
* Lend support to the Quality Manager in preparation for biannual ISO audits for Navan and Ballyconnell, and manage the ISO Activity Log related to both Navan and Ballyconnell.
* Participate in all activities within the quality function that ensure product quality, continuous improvement, and customer focus, are inherent in our production process.
Environmental
* Carry out weekly environmental site walks and report and follow-up on observations/incidents.
* Co-ordinate and manage our waste collection services for Navan.
* Schedule, co-ordinate, and maintain records for site Environmental Monitoring and Control services for Navan, and provide support to Ballyconnell to ensure completion of same.
* Be the point-of-contact for the EPA/Eden environmental reporting for Navan and Ballyconnell and ensure records are maintained in accordance with our IPPC Licence.
Key Skills/ Attributes:
* Relevant qualification or proven experience understanding the Quality Control and/or Environmental functions within a production environment.
* Be a strong team player that builds a supportive working environment within the production office group, and across our Unilin sites.
* Be professional and confidential in all methods of correspondence and be open to adapt flexible working hours to meet deadlines.
* Actively partake in activities and learning opportunities that allow development of skills related to the role above.
* Good Microsoft Office computer skills, with emphasis on strong Excel knowledge.
* Be practically minded and understand technical issues.
* Have a proven track record of working to a high quality standard, and demonstrated an ability to foster improvement.
* Strong initiative and ability to identify and speak out, when quality issues/concerns are observed.
