We are now looking for a results-driven Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Head Office in Tramore Road, Cork City. Responsibilities: Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments Assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring all accounts payable transactions are accurately recorded Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and address vendor inquiries in a timely manner Assist in the preparation of periodic payment runs Monitor and reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies and maintaining positive supplier relationships Assist in the implementation and utilisation of accounts payable software and systems Streamline accounts payable workflows by implementing automation and efficiency improvements Manage and verify weekly staff hours in the internal portal, working with departments to ensure accuracy Perform other related duties and ad-hoc tasks as required to support the finance team Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with automated accounts payable solutions is desirable.
