Clinical Nurse Manager II Theatre Role
UPMC Aut Even Hospital seeks a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Manager II Theatre to join our team. This pivotal role involves service planning, coordination, and management of resources within the theatre area.
The successful candidate will coordinate and lead in the implementation and provision of quality care, ensuring the highest professional standards using an evidence-based approach. Key responsibilities include managing patient care, providing professional and clinical leadership, and being responsible for the coordination, assessment, planning, delivery, and review of service user care by all staff in designated areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence-based, care planning approach
* Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership
* Be responsible for the coordination, assessment, planning, delivery, and review of service user care by all staff in designated areas
* Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to service users within guidelines laid out by NMBI (Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered in the General Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by NMBI
* At least two years' experience in a management position in theatres is desirable
* A recognised post-registration course in Peri-Operative Care is advantageous
* Display evidence of continuing professional development
* Demonstrate an awareness of HR policies and procedures
