The Role
AMD is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruitment function for AMD in EMEA. The role is a strategic business partner responsible for developing, leading, and implementing hiring initiatives to meet recruitment goals and targets in partnership with other regional leads. The manager will lead a team that provides value‑added services to customers with a focus on consultation, planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
The Person
We are looking for a passionate talent acquisition leader who has strong execution and end‑to‑end ownership in a fast‑paced technology environment. The candidate should have experience building a recruiting team across multiple locations, be hands‑on with significant project‑management and execution skills, and demonstrate results orientation and a focus on service delivery. The ideal individual is smart, proactive, collaborative, courageous, and a risk taker who drives change.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with senior leaders to understand business strategy and focus recruiting efforts to align with workforce plans.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the organization to drive success and credibility.
* Build AMD’s employment brand, attract high‑quality talent, and lead executive‑level recruiting.
* Partner with Centers of Excellence to manage immigration, global trade, onboarding, background investigation, and related processes.
* Refine processes to increase recruiter and hiring manager efficiencies, foster consistency, support a positive candidate experience, and ensure regional compliance.
* Stay up‑to‑date with recruiting trends in technology and other progressive companies.
* Lead talent‑team projects related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
* Leverage recruiting technology to enhance business results, provide scalability, timely information, and ensure consistency.
* Provide reporting and metrics as needed by the business.
