Our client is a growing technology business based in Dublin, currently expanding their engineering team. They are looking to hire a Principal Platform / Systems Engineer with a strong SRE and infrastructure background.
This is a hands‑on role focused on platform reliability, performance, and troubleshooting across production environments. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to ensure systems are stable, scalable, and performing at a high level, while taking ownership of complex issues when they arise.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve performance and reduce risk
Support ongoing improvements across infrastructure, automation, and deployments
Strong experience in a Systems Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure‑focused role
Deep understanding of Linux systems in production environments
Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewalls, latency, connectivity)
Proven experience managing and resolving complex production incidents
Experience in SaaS, telecoms, or high‑availability environments
Comfortable working across multiple layers of the stack
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently
Experience with VoIP, SIP, RTP, or real‑time communication systems
Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash)
