My client based in Dublin City Centre, is one of Irelands leading architectural firms. They have a team of over 250 architects, designers and support staff who work on projects throughout Ireland and internationally. Their work includes architecture, interior design, master planning and conservation projects.They are currently looking to add to their team a Financial Analyst with the ability to develop a strong understanding of the financial drivers of architectural projects whilst being mindful of design and other strategic considerations which impact projects and organisations in the construction industry. The candidate needs to have a process driven / attention to detail mindset which can envision the business future and can work closely with architectural professionals to enable further ongoing success for the organisation.Main ResponsibilitiesThis role is primarily focused on project accounting and will include the following key duties:Management of the project billing forecast within the costing system.Management of resource planning and reporting planned versus actual spend.Issuing monthly sales invoices.Issuing statements and chasing debtors.Managing Sub Consultants on projects.Interacting directly with project managers and Directors to ensure timely and accurate information is both provided and received.Assistance with fee proposals.Debtors reporting.Ensuring all timesheets within the director group are kept up to date.Adhoc duties as required.Candidate RequirementsThird Level Qualification with some experience in a similar role.Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Must have strong Excel and analytical skills.Experience with financial systems.Strong communications skills, with a proven ability to communicate and build relationships with senior stakeholders, is a key requirement for the role.Self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative.A team player with a willingness to assist within the department where needed.Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.BonusBonus voucher paid to all employees yearlyPension – matched pension contribution up to 3%Learning & Development – financial support for relevant courses (fees paid and paid study leave), in‑house trainingFor more information on this role or any other Accountancy roles contact Conal O'Connoror click on the apply button belowTo view all live jobs with Brightwater and market insights, please visit our website; www.brightwater.ie
