Job Summary: North is a dynamic and innovative technology company dedicated to reshaping the landscape of financial risk and compliance management. We seek an innovative Product Designer to support the user interface design, promoting a positive user experience, of all product offerings within the fraud, risk and compliance platform. As UI Designer your remit will be to design effective user interfaces, which are intuitive, comprehensive and ensure efficiency for the end-user. Significant time and effort will be invested in prototyping and building wireframes. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and AI experts to ensure that all components seamlessly interact for optimal product offerings. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand project goals and user needs. Create user-centered design solutions that align with product vision and enhance the overall user experience. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction. Ensure consistency in design elements and user interfaces across all product features and platforms. Stay informed about industry trends, design patterns, and best practices to bring innovative and cutting-edge design solutions to the product. Collaborate with development teams during the implementation phase to ensure designs are accurately translated into functional user interfaces. Advocate for user-centric design principles and contribute to the overall design strategy of the product. Work with product managers to prioritize design tasks based on project goals and timelines. Education and Experience (required): Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Proven experience as a product designer, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (required): Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or similar. Solid understanding of user interface (UI) design best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to conduct user research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable design improvements. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and design consistency. Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and iterate on designs accordingly. Passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing product experiences that meet or exceed user expectations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (preferred): Familiarity with front-end development principles and collaboration with development teams.
