This is a full time postion and not suitable for students
The ideal candidate will be responsible for various department, keeping these stocked and in time doing all the ordering for them. Some of these department are quite specialised and full training will be given both in house and by attending supplier training courses. Being good at DIY and general maintenance would be beneficial.
It is a busy fast-paced environment with many different activities to do. The job also involves interacting with our customers, giving advice and providing an amazing customer service experience.
Full clean driver's licence required with forklift driving experience also beneficial although not essential.
JOB SPECIFICATION
* Advising customers in the garden centre.
* Keeping your departments clean and presentable.
* Stocking and merchandising items and in time ordering.
* Follow up on all customer enquiries.
* Unloading supplier deliveries and warehousing correctly.
* Assisting with other departments as required
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Previous customer service experience preferable but not essential
* Energetic, outgoing personality
* Initiative and a good work ethic
* Good at multi-tasking
* Forklift experience
* Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
* A positive attitude and a smile for all our customers.
* To be responsible and reliable
* A good team player
* Ensuring the correct quantity and quality of goods are made available to our customers
* The position is for Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 6pm.
