Ring is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Key job responsibilities Develop and implement detailed validation plans tailored to specific hardware designs.
Collaborate with design teams to understand and test against product requirements.
Analyze and interpret data from validation tests, offering insights and recommendations.
Automate testing processes to improve efficiency.
Document validation processes, findings, and insights clearly and systematically.
Maintain, calibrate, and oversee validation equipment to ensure consistent results.
Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues identified during validation.
A day in the life As a hardware validation engineer, your main responsibility is to ensure our products are of the highest quality for our customers.
You will set up and run tests on hardware products, analyze the results, identify areas for improvement, and document your findings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in product development within an R&D environment.
Strong understanding of schematics and PCB layout, with the ability to review and analyze circuit designs.
Proficiency in hardware design software such as Altium 365, Cadence, or similar eCAD tools.
Experience in creating and executing hardware test plans and technical documentation.
Hands-on experience with lab test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing hardware failures and implementing corrective actions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and understanding of product lifecycle from prototyping to mass production.
Experience in RF testing, signal integrity, power integrity, or acoustic testing.
Experience working with contract manufacturing and cross-disciplinary teams.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
