We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in North Tipperary CDNT, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week
Salary Scale: €57,771 - €68,385 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increment (LSI).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post
To provide a range of Physiotherapy services to children 0 – 18 years and their families who attend the Network Disability Team, within an interdisciplinary framework and family centred practice. The post holder will be required to work across a range of settings including the clinic, preschool, schools and special preschools, children’s home and community settings.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
1. Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
2. Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
3. Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
4. Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
5. On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
6. Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
Desirable Criteria:
* 2 years’ experience with children with disability
* Experience of working within the PDS Framework.
* Experience of interdisciplinary team working
* Experience of supervising students/therapy assistants/support staff.
* Experience of complex postural management
