Job Opportunity: Operations Accountant
Join our dynamic team within the Finance function at Chanelle Pharma. We are committed to being the most valued global provider of high-quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products, offering excellent services and support to our customers.
Location: Loughrea facility with hybrid working options (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after passing probation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with accountants to develop and maintain detailed cost models for pharmaceutical products, including manufactured, third-party, and part-processed items.
2. Gain in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical products, production processes, and cost factors across medical and veterinary lines.
3. Work with subject matter experts to gather data and validate assumptions for cost models related to R&D and contract manufacturing.
4. Monitor cost driver fluctuations and analyze their impact on product portfolios.
5. Update standard costs periodically.
6. Review supplier pricing trends and material costs monthly.
7. Analyze direct labor and overhead costs to support decision-making.
8. Manage inventory reporting and reconciliation, optimizing stock management and analyzing metrics such as stock age and turnover.
9. Participate in cycle counts and annual stock counts.
10. Support budgeting and forecasting by providing cost and variance analysis.
11. Improve financial systems, processes, and procedures for better productivity and data quality.
12. Engage in continuous financial development and expand business knowledge.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
* At least 2 years of industry experience, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.

* Proficiency in financial reporting and cost modeling.
