The role has a direct line to the Group Head of Compliance in London and a dotted line to the CEO, Ireland.The roleDrive and lead the licensing process with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) and foster a strong working relationship with the local regulatorReport to the board with significant interaction with the C-suite on a daily basis. Obtain their approval on your compliance and risk monitoring programmeProvide leadership, support and strategic, commercially focused, real-time advice to the business and compliance colleagues on compliance and regulatory mattersMonitor regulatory developments in Ireland and the EU relating to AIF funds and keep the group informedAct as the designated representative for Data Protection/GDPR issues in IrelandBe an active part of the wider group compliance function and support the Group Head of ComplianceThe CandidateMinimum 10 years of senior management experience in a compliance role in the ManCo, investment management or funds industry is requiredExtensive technical knowledge and experience working with the Central Bank on AIFMD regulationsProven experience in liaising with the Central Bank or other EU regulators at a senior levelPrevious approval and experience operating in a PCF roleExtensive experience and knowledge of Irish and EU anti-money laundering rules and regulations and best practice approach for implementing a robust AML framework is requiredSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance
