ARAG Legal Protection LimitedWe are recruiting for a Claims Handler to join the market leading Legal Protection Insurer and legal services provider, ARAG in Dublin.Providing Access to Justice at ARAG, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. Our claims department is therefore critical to our success.We are looking for individuals who have a passion for exceeding customer satisfaction, who are passionate about delivering a first-class service to our customers and who can work under pressure, whilst maintaining a supportive and empathetic response to all our customers.In return we offer a busy, rewarding and very supportive environment which gives an opportunity for both personal development and career satisfaction.Your role will involve the capture of claim reports from customers, processing of claim details and corresponding with all parties to the claim. You will also share responsibility for the capturing of motor claims notifications from customers, reporting of the claim to the motor insurer, oversight of the progress of the claim and updating our customer.The key responsibilities of the role are:Capturing of motor accident details from the customer by telephone and other means.Advising the customer on the benefits applicable to the policy and services available to them.Advising on the PIRB process and appointment of lawyers to handle the claim.Corresponding with the motor insurers on the claim.Communicating with Brokers and others in connection with the claim.Processing requests for services under the policy.Keeping remote files and filing up to date.Corresponding and liaising with all relevant parties.Ensuring proper recovery and accounting of claims.Responsible for all other requirements of a claims handling/support function as the needs of the business dictate.The successful candidate will:Hold or be working towards a minimum insurance qualification.Have experience of claims handling or claims call centre experience.Have the ability to work with others and to build strong relationships.Be able to think on your feet, have good organisational skills and be a team player.Have exceptional written and verbal skills.Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to customer/ business needs; andHave strong attention to detail.At ARAG we always love to hear from talented individuals so please follow us on Twitter or LinkedIn.We're also proud to say we're an equal opportunities employer who welcome applications from all backgrounds.An attractive remuneration package with flexible working arrangements will be available to the suitable candidate.Please forward cover letter and CV before closing date for receipt of applications on the 30th of January at 5pm.Job Type: Full-timePay: €30,000.00-€32,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionEmployee assistance programFlexitimeFree or subsidised travelGym membershipWork from homeEducation:Advanced/Higher Certificate (preferred)Experience:Legal and/or Insurance: 1 year (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dublin 2, CO.
