Quality Control Analyst - Fix Term Contract
A leading global food and beverage manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst for its production facility located in Little Island. This is a fixed term contract-based opportunity offering the chance to work in a dynamic, high-performance environment focused on producing well-known consumer products.
About the Role:
As a member of the Quality team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring product safety and quality by conducting raw material testing in compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate and timely testing and approval of raw materials in line with company protocols.
- Ensure adherence to all confidentiality, safety, and ISO/GLP standards.
- Manage the inventory and replenishment of laboratory supplies.
- Support effective collaboration between the QC lab and production teams.
- Assist in the integration of new products in collaboration with Manufacturing and R&D teams.
- Accurately log and track QC samples in laboratory information systems.
- Maintain meticulous records of data and sample handling to ensure traceability.
- Prepare production and delivery samples within required timeframes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.
- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment as necessary.
- Promote a safe lab environment and uphold Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with ingredients, raw materials, or food/beverage products.
