An opportunity exists for an innovative and experienced Network Build Supervisor to lead the FttH Build / New Developments of the installation of client's network infrastructure in the Cork and southeast area. This person will streamline deliverables whilst maintaining high H&S standards. Working within a multi-disciplined team, the successful candidate will have an appreciation of other disciplines constraints and project requirements. This is a 6-month fixed term contract with potential to be extended.

Responsibilities
Role and Responsibilities
* Managing and coordinating fibre installation to deliver timely solutions and support the other functions for our client.
* Ensure all contractors / employees meet the Health, Safety and Environmental obligations of the relevant statutory Codes and Laws.
* Co-ordinate all external interfaces to the contract - i.e., Local Authorities, NRA, developers, residents etc
* Reviewing project scopes to determine structural deliverables, support and supplementary services
* Liaising with the client to maintain existing relationships and high levels of satisfaction and to further develop new opportunities.
* Managing contractors and other resources required in order to keep pace with fluctuating work-streams / meeting tight timescales.
* Identifying work to be contracted out and managing the contracting out process.
* effectively.
* Ensuring that Health and Safety is paramount in all aspects of design and development.
* work and will actively pursue designs to minimise intervention.
* Responding to sensitive issues as they arise, acting as a client representative, preparing professional reports.
* Co-ordinate and manage the interface with the Utility Companies where applicable.
* Agree / negotiate / review Traffic management arrangements and proposals with the Contractor.
* Walkout and conducting joint measures with Contractor.
* Sign Off on works completed to client and local authority specification.
Skills Required
Experience Required:
* 3 years experience in the telecoms industry.
* Self-motivated.
* Excellent communication skills, negotiating skills, attention to detail, team player, ability to build relationships, can work under pressure and on own initiative, empowered to take own responsibility and accountability.
* Full, clean Driving Licence
Essential:
* Safe Pass
* High standard of English both written and spoken
* MS Office Proficient
* Road Opening & Reinstatement Course (can be provided)
* Signing Lighting & Guarding Course (can be provided)
