Service Engineer Dairy Equipment/Machines
Responsibilities:
* Provide a high level of technical support for our customers.
* Undertake daily customer service calls for breakdown/repair/service.
* Ensure complete customer satisfaction with a prompt response & solution to their queries/issues.
* Prepare documentation and submit service reports through Service app.
* Work proactively at building relationships with customers to generate extra business.
* Where appropriate, initiate sales enquiries and forward to the Sales team.
* Provide recommendations about new features and product improvements where deemed appropriate.
* Monitor inventory in the van and reorder materials when needed.
* Oversee maintenance and upkeep of company vehicle, maintain service logs, ensure NCT compliance & review daily vehicle lists & take corrective action if required.
* Be flexible with working hours & locations and available for overtime and on-call rota when/if required.
* Keep technical skills up to date.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Knowledgeable about dairy machines and equipment.
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques; deadline-driven.
* Computer literate with a very good knowledge of Excel.
* Full driving license.
Viewing of a portfolio either online or in soft copy is desirable.
