About the Role
This is a central position in our industrial research and development department, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and promoting circular economy strategies alongside operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Product Development:
* Assessing potential new raw materials and fuels to support low-carbon products.
* Supporting product development programs with a focus on sustainable solutions.
2. Technical Marketing Support:
* Providing technical assistance to customers and monitoring market performance of products.
* Investigating customer queries and complaints to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Introducing new products to the market through strategic marketing initiatives.
3. Production Support:
* Conducting routine specialist testing to support factory operations.
* Analysis of product and process data to advise on production improvements and increase efficiency.
4. Laboratory Work:
* Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines in the laboratory environment.
* Conducting laboratory testing, analyzing results, and making recommendations for improvement.
* Liaising with external laboratories for clear and accurate reports.
* Maintaining laboratory inventory and ensuring timely ordering of necessary supplies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive laboratory experience, in-depth knowledge of chemistry, analytical skills, excellent report writing and communication abilities, and strong IT knowledge. Key qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
