Overview:
Assist the Store Manager/Assistant Manager in the smooth running of the store in order to achieve sales and cost targets. Provide exceptional customer service and support in a retail environment, promoting and selling premium cookware products. Supervising employees, managing inventory and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice on our cookware products.
* Sales: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective company sales techniques, product demonstrations and upselling.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our product range and stay updated on new arrivals and promotions.
* Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-stocked, organised, clean and tidy by undertaking all housekeeping duties.
* Inventory Management: Assist with stock control and checks, including receiving, unpacking and organising merchandise.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to create a positive and productive work environment.
* Cash Handling: Process transactions accuarately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Cash up in accordance with company policy and procedures.
* Keyholder Duties: Open and close the store, ensuring all security procedures are followed.
* Team Supervision: Lead, motivate and manage the store team to achieve sales and service goals. Deputise in the absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably in a premium brand environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for cooking and familarity with cookware products.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and retail management software.
