Supply Chain Business Analyst Role
This position plays a key support role in the Customer Operations department, requiring a solid knowledge of supply chain and S&OP processes. The successful candidate will be able to quickly mine data to aggregate information into useful business intelligence.
About the Job:
The Business Analyst is responsible for running daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for Customer Operations management. They will analyze customer forecast, backlog, shipping, inventory, and revenue data to develop models of customer behavior. This involves creating visual representations of data to depict business trends and collaborating with business users to develop business requirements for new application solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Run daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for Customer Operations management.
* Analyze customer forecast, backlog, shipping, inventory, and revenue data to develop models of customer behavior.
* Create visual representations of data to depict business trends.
* Collaborate with business users to develop business requirements for new application solutions.
* Develop new data models and reports.
* Develop new AI tools and solutions.
* Develop ad-hoc data analysis as business conditions change.
* Coordinate testing of new applications with business users.
* Implement new applications into production and provide production support for existing applications.
Requirements:
* Expertise in Supply Chain Management, Forecasting, Revenue Recognition, and Channel Management.
* Expert Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA ERP, Salesforce, PowerBI, Snowflake, Oracle SQL, Oracle APEX, Smartsheet.
* Deep Understanding of Order Management, Pricing, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Inventory processes.
* Strong Analytical and Project Management skills required.
* Ability to quickly develop Excel models, macros, and charts.
* Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ThoughtSpot AI, and other AI tools desired.
* Ability to write clear and succinct explanations of business implications based on data analysis.
* Ability to verbally communicate clearly the conclusions based on data analysis.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related major.
* 2-5 years experience in a Supply Chain Business Analyst or similar role in a semiconductor or other high-tech company.
