Eligibility to participate on Community Employment (CE) is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Eligibility must be verified by the Department.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form. If you have lived outside of Ireland for 6 months or more you will require Police Clearance from countries of residency.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, play areas, toilets, and common areas
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces as required
Ensuring cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately
Assisting with waste management and recycling procedures
Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to the management team
