Creative IT is one of Ireland's leading tech repair and refurbished electronics providers. Our Mullingar store handles a high volume of phone, laptop, PC, and tablet repairs, as well as sales of refurbished devices and upgrades. With growing demand and a strong customer base, we are now seeking an experienced Shop Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day operations and lead our retail & repair team.
This is a senior role for someone confident, organised, and capable — someone who can take the pressure off ownership and run the shop independently.

Your Responsibilities Daily Operations
Sales Leadership (Major Part of the Role)
* Drive sales of refurbished phones, laptops, PCs, accessories, antivirus, and upgrades
* Train and motivate staff on upselling and add-on sales
* Monitor sales performance and set daily/weekly targets for the team
* Ensure the shop consistently meets monthly revenue goals
* Create a culture of customer-first service with strong commercial results
Daily Operations
* Manage the shop floor, ensuring a smooth workflow for repairs and collections
* Oversee intake, diagnostics, repairs, updates, and communication
* Maintain high organisation standards and ensure timely repair turnaround
* Manage stock levels for devices, accessories, and parts
Team Management
* Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of technicians and sales staff
* Delegate work, manage breaks, and structure daily workflow
* Support staff development and performance improvement
* Serve as the escalation point for customer or staff issues
Reporting & KPI Management
* Track daily repair numbers, sales performance, and profitability
* Provide weekly reports to the business owner
* Identify inefficiencies and improve processes across the shop
* Reduce backlog and maintain consistent customer communication

About You (Required):
* 3+ years retail management or service operations experience
* Strong leadership skills — confident delegator, organised, firm but fair
* Understanding of consumer tech (phones, laptops, repairs, upgrades)
* Excellent communication and customer-handling ability
* Ability to run a fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts
* Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Bonus If You Have:
* Experience in a phone/computer repair business
* Ability to implement SOPs and productivity systems
* Experience with POS systems, repair tracking, or ticketing software
* A background in telecom retail (Vodafone, Eir, Three, etc.)
