Job Opportunity: Senior Frontend Developer
Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Frontend Developer candidate who has managed a team of Frontend Engineers to join their Dublin based team on a permanent basis.
* Write and review high level code, and deploy systems that support business needs
* Participate in UX & UI application design and architecture reviews on an ongoing basis
* Engage in agile, interactive software development process
* Collaborate and work closely with business, product and engineering teams and stakeholders
* Break down complex problems into simple, creative, and effective solutions that meet business needs and requirements
* Build solutions for high availability, observability, and maintainability
* Provide support for the platform as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 10+ years of software engineering experience
* Expertise in React/Angular Frameworks
* Bachelors degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering
* Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data applications
* Experience designing & building web applications with a strong eye for UI / UX and intuitive functionality
* Knowledge of modern web programming frameworks (e.g. React), HTML, JavaScript & CSS
* Interest in finance, hard-working and eager to learn in a fast-paced, innovative commercial environment
* Strong communication skills for interacting with the wider team stakeholders
* Ability to think strategically and act tactically with a high level of attention to detail
* Demonstrated curiosity, analytical skills, and resourcefulness with a proven record of ownership and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
