Offer description

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team in a key role. Grant Thornton Ireland, a leading firm with over 2500 people across 10 offices in Ireland, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, and Bermuda, is seeking a talented individual to oversee and manage the full lifecycle of derivative instruments.

This role involves overseeing and managing the end-to-end processing of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives, including trade capture, confirmation, margining, settlement, and lifecycle event management across multiple funds. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, counterparties, and internal teams to deliver high-quality operational support while driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hedge funds and OTC derivatives, as well as experience in derivatives operations within asset management, investment banking, or fund administration. A solid understanding of fund accounting principles and derivative accounting treatment is essential. Additionally, the candidate should possess analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring adherence to robust risk and control frameworks, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. You will also participate in process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and efficiency drives within the derivatives operations function.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. If you are a results-driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply.
