Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a Leading Legal Firm to hire a Senior Finance Manager on an 12-15 month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining the integrity of financial information in compliance with relevant legislation and internal accounting policies.
* Oversee the month end close.
* Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Develop our the month-end close process, drive efficiencies and meet the changing needs of the business.
* Lead the preparation of the annual budgeting process.
* Coordinating and managing the completion of year end accounts.
* Attending monthly meetings with the Finance Director to discuss financial performance of the firm and highlight key issues.
* Business partnering with Heads of other departments to review their costs against budget.
* Coordinating and manage the year end Statutory Audit
* Overseeing the implementation of audit recommendations and monitoring the ongoing compliance with these and other controls.
* Reviewing and approving financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards and relevant legislation prior to presentation to the Audit Committee.
* Manage and developing the Financial Reporting team of four.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* ACA / ACCA qualified with 8+ years PQE and a minimum of 4 years experience in a management role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve a wide range of finance issues.
