About the Company
Exciting opportunity for a Junior Construction Professional to work with a well-established Main Contractor who have a number of exciting projects coming up in the Midlands.
The successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced Site Manager and Project Manager on a brand-new commercial job in co.
Laois.
Ideally looking to chat to recent graduates of Construction Management Degree who have completed a placement but this is not essential.
Would also chat to applicants with 1 years' experience post grad.
The Role
Report to and support the Contracts Manager
Oversee the day-to-day management of projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff, trades and subcontractors over multiple sites.
Attend meetings with Clients, Architects, Design Team, site crew, other stakeholders and Senior Management to update them on the progress of the projects.
Update the site diary & Health & Safety File
Reporting on project progress and cost
Supervise works on site and work with Site Managers to drive workforce.
Perform company compliance, contract administration, BACRR, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations and ensure that policies are being adhered to on site.
Requirements
A Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or Similar.
1-2 years' experience required for this role with a Main Contractor in ROI.
Must be confident in their ability to make decisions, communicate with key stakeholders, plan and prioritise workload.
Strong I.T skills are essential.
