Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Description:
* This role involves working on multiple ongoing projects for a construction company based in London. Your key responsibilities may vary depending on the nature and stage of the project being worked on, but can include:
1. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;
2. Valuations, variations, sub-contractors measurement and payment along with completion of job costings on a monthly basis for presentation to directors;
3. Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
4. Performing risk, value management and cost control;
5. Advising on procurement strategy;
6. Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
7. Preparing and analysing costings for tenders;
8. Allocating work to subcontractors;
9. Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
Requirements:
* Candidates should have 10 years of QS experience;
* Strong time management and communication skills are essential to this role as well as computer literacy and the ability to prepare reports and administer necessary paperwork.
