We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join our Digital Project Delivery Team at Walls Construction Limited.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing digital information models across various project teams, ensuring compliance with client requirements and adherence to project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with the Project Information Manager and project team to achieve project objectives and ensure seamless collaboration.
* Support the implementation of project standards, methods, and procedures in accordance with ISO 19650 Part 1 & 2:2018, under the guidance of the Project Information Manager.
* Ensure all project milestones are met on time and to expected standards by adhering to the client's requirements as set out in the Project Exchange Information Requirements.
* Implement and maintain digital plans, including the BIM Execution Plan and Asset Management Plan, to facilitate efficient project delivery.
* Federate digital information received from task teams, prepare clash detection, data verification, and model health check reports, and communicate issues identified to Design/Construction Lead and individual task teams.
* Support the Design/Construction Lead in coordinating and managing task teams' digital information models.
* Develop and execute an overall BIM Coordination Schedule in line with the construction sequence to be used in BIM Coordination workshops and at project milestones.
* Review and oversee the production of task teams' as-built drawings and models.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Degree in an Engineering or Design-related subject.
* Strong knowledge of Navisworks and Revit, with other BIM software desirable.
