We are partnering with a leading global fund services provider to hire an Assistant Vice President OTC Pricing professional to join their high-performing valuations team in Dublin. This is a senior opportunity within a globally integrated function responsible for the pricing and independent valuation of complex financial instruments across hedge fund portfolios.
The Role
Oversee the independent pricing and valuation of OTC derivatives and complex financial instruments
Review and validate pricing models, assumptions, and inputs across portfolios
Investigate and resolve pricing exceptions, acting as an escalation point for complex valuation issues
Engage directly with hedge fund clients, valuation committees, and senior stakeholders
Lead and support a team, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight
Contribute to new client onboardings, migrations, and process improvements
Drive projects relating to systems, workflows, and pricing methodologies
Review valuation policies and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations (e.g. fair value frameworks)
Your Profile
5–7+ years’ experience in OTC pricing, derivatives valuation, or a related quantitative function
Background in areas such as risk management, quantitative research, financial engineering, or trading
Strong understanding of derivatives, valuation techniques, and financial markets
Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and clients
Prior team leadership or mentoring experience is advantageous
Strong technical skills – Excel essential, with VBA and/or SQL highly beneficial
Professional qualifications (CFA, MSc, MBA) are a plus
