The HRIS Workday Lead is a key member of the team responsible for the successful deployment, ongoing management and optimization of the Workday HR platform across Goodyear's global footprint.This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, bridging the gap between HR process owners, business stakeholders and technical teams. You will translate complex business needs into scalable Workday configurations and drive system enhancements that maximize value, efficiency and compliance across regions where Goodyear operates. Your expertise will enable smoother HR processes, streamline operations and enhance the employee experience for thousands of users worldwide.What You'll DoDesign, configure, test, and deploy Workday HR functional modules (depending on your area of expertise, e.g. Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation or other) for a global workforceEnsure that system configurations meet both global and local business requirements, including statutory, regulatory and cultural differencesMaintain and optimize Workday business processes, security roles, workflows and integrations as part of the global team to support HR operations worldwideDocument system configurations, changes and customizations clearly for audit, training and operational continuityProvide input on the implementation of Workday delivered and custom reports, dashboards and analytics to deliver meaningful workforce insightsPartner with global HR, Payroll, IT and business teams to understand requirements, gather feedback and prioritize system enhancementsActively participate in projects aimed at streamlining HR processes, improving efficiency and implementing Workday system enhancementsWhat You'll BringBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field4+ years of Workday configuration experience, including regional or global deployments of selected Workday HCM modules (e.g. Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation or other)Strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams and a commitment to addressing stakeholder needs globallyPreferred QualificationsWorks effectively with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teamsProactively identifies opportunities for system and process improvement, with active involvement in projects to streamline HR processes and implement Workday system enhancementsThrives in dynamic, fast-paced, multicultural environments while taking ownership of deliverablesHandles sensitive data with discretion and upholds confidentialityWe welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
