Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Medical Scientist to join our haematology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, processing samples, and authorizing results under the direction of the Chief Medical Scientist and Laboratory Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in writing, maintaining, and enforcing procedures related to all areas of the laboratory and its testing equipment
* Apply and implement operational procedures up to 'best practice' standard to optimize resource use
* Implement a quality management program that is patient-centered and measures performance
* Perform scientific work to required JCI Accreditation Standards
* Prioritize work during busy periods and coordinate multiple concurrent testing
