Senior Cloud Data Engineer – Data Movement
Dublin, Ireland
Hybrid: one week in the office/month
Duration: 6 month contract
Rate: €390 - €440/daily
Our client, one of the world's largest asset managers, provides financial, investment, and technology solutions to individuals, businesses, and wealth management firms globally. They are seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join their dynamic, global team of technologists within the Data Movement platform, driving innovative cloud-native solutions to power next-generation digital services. You will design, deploy, and automate cloud infrastructure to ensure a reliable, scalable, and highly available platform. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize data movement processes and enhance platform performance.
Skills and Experience required
* Strong Unix/Linux expertise and cloud deployment experience.
* Practical experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
* Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
* Strong analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues .
* Experience with alerting, monitoring, and incident resolution .
* Familiarity with data replication technologies (e.g., STRIIM or Golden Gate).
* Cloud certifications in Azure or AWS are a plus.
