Role Title: Project Manager
Department: Networks – DCC Civils
Reports To: Contracts Manager
Location: Dublin
Role Purpose
The Project Manager will lead civils projects along with the operations team. The role ensures projects are safely delivered on time and within budget.

Principal Responsibilities
* Drive and manage a project that delivers the objectives required to meet or exceed the KPI targets.
* Provide direction and lead your project team – including sub-contractors.
* Determine the resource requirements for completing all works throughout the project.
* Manage productivity, assign roles, tasks, and responsibilities for successful project completion in accordance with planning, specifications, and requirements.
* Take ownership of the commercial aspects of the contract/project and ensure it meets budget requirements.
* Identify ways to reduce costs and improve performance.
* Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, ensuring responsibility for yourself and team members.
* Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign duties while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies.
Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
* Previous project management experience in a similar industry.
* Proven track record within the Civils industry in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment.
Experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative environment.
Skills & Competencies
* Degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
* Sound knowledge of all HSA regulations.
* Good communication, people management, and leadership skills.
* Relevant experience within the Civils sector.
* Ability to contribute technical knowledge to proposals and reports.
* Excellent literacy, numeric, and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office & MS Teams.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to understand, manage, and deliver KPIs.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a large diverse team.
