Job Description RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.
We are seeking a dedicated candidate Healthcare Assistant - HCA to join our team in providing personalized care and support to individuals living with dementia in our Nursing Home based in Co kildare .
Permanent, Full-time /Part Time Responsibilities Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic, person-centred care to residents, always promoting equality, dignity, and respect.
Carry out assigned and delegated duties involving direct resident care and activities of daily living, including washing, toileting, dressing and undressing, dining, social engagement, conversation, communication support, and all other aspects of daily living.
Respect residents' privacy and dignity at all times and actively promote their independence and choice.
Provide additional support and close attention to residents with limited mobility or specific care needs.
Demonstrate knowledge of individual care plans, implement them appropriately, and immediately report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental wellbeing to the nursing team.
Promptly report any incident, accident, or potential risk that may compromise the health, safety, or wellbeing of residents, staff, or visitors.
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment in line with health and safety policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and representatives to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Contribute positively to resident activities, social programmes, and events to enhance quality of life and wellbeing.
Requirements Healthcare QQI Level 5 (or similar) This position is open to Healthcare Assistants with EU citizenship or a valid Irish work permit (Stamp 4, Stamp 1G, or equivalent with no working restrictions).
