Purchasing and Planning Professional
As a Purchasing and Planning Manager, you will be responsible for production planning, raw materials ordering, and warehouse management.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers by managing the plant supply chain activities and achieving targeted OTIF (On-Time in Full).
* Balance financial targets with production targets and customer service requirements to drive business success.
* Order raw materials and maintain optimal inventory levels to support smooth production operations.
* Monitor key performance indicators, analyze deviations, and implement improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency.
* Lead and develop the Planning and Supply Chain teams to achieve strategic goals.
* Manage inventory levels on raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels.
* Cultivate an agile supply chain approach through flexible shift models and processes that guarantee higher flexibility.
* Collaborate closely with Production and Quality departments to maintain high customer service standards.
* Support target setting, forecasting, capacity planning, and budget creation to drive business growth.
* Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends.
Key qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or related field.
* Experience in sales and operational planning systems.
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of MS Nav and Oracle supply chain tools.
* Ability to drive supply chain optimization along the product lifecycle.
* Target-driven and result-oriented with strong competence in IT.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with interpersonal skills to work with all levels within the organization.
* Previous experience in people management and demonstrated ability in team building and motivation.
