A leading organisation in the reinsurance and insurance sector is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their Dublin office. What You'll Do
* Assist the Head of Compliance in promoting an organisational culture committed to integrity, ethical conduct, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations through effective design and implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and processes.
* Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting both domestic operations and overseas branches, ensuring timely implementation of new requirements across the business.
* Provide day‑to‑day advice, challenge, and support to various teams regarding compliance obligations arising from new initiatives, programmes, products, and services.
* Support the preparation of detailed compliance reports for Executive Management and Boards of Directors as required by internal governance protocols.
* Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on key compliance‑related matters to employees at all levels within the organisation.
* Assist with regulatory fitness and probity applications while ensuring strict adherence to the Central Bank of Ireland Individual Accountability Framework.
* Coordinate responses to requests for regulatory information and documentation from authorities or internal stakeholders as needed.
* Prepare and submit accurate regulatory filings in accordance with statutory deadlines and requirements.
* Advise on licensing queries related to new or existing business activities within regulated environments.
* Carry out thorough compliance monitoring and testing activities as required by internal audit schedules or external mandates.
* Collaborate with corporate group compliance colleagues to ensure consistent implementation of group‑wide policies and support group reporting requirements.
What You Bring
* Professional certification in compliance or other relevant qualification is required for this position.
* Demonstrable experience working within a regulated entity—ideally within (re)insurance is highly desirable for success in this role.
* Comprehensive understanding of Irish regulatory frameworks as well as wider European requirements including Central Bank of Ireland prudential and consumer standards is essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for producing consistently high‑quality work across multiple channels.
* Proven ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team‑based environment is vital for meeting organisational objectives.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills are required for building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
* Strong organisational abilities are needed for managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or accuracy.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is expected for efficient report writing, data analysis, presentation creation, and general administration.
