We are seeking a
Cloud and Compliance Specialist
to join our client's Security team in Dublin. This role will focus on Cloud Security and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), supporting high-impact programmes across cross-functional teams (XFNs).
Key Responsibilities
 * Support and deliver major programmes of work in Cloud Security and Cloud GRC.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify priorities, resolve challenges, and assess programme impact.
 * Design, implement, and assess security controls and frameworks.
 * Implement maturity frameworks across multiple programmes, factoring in emerging regulations and risk detection.
 * Assess and document the impact of new regulations on existing policies and control frameworks.
 * Share learnings, establish best practices, and develop standardised frameworks and tools across GRC and related teams.
 * Partner with XFN teams to develop and manage detailed project/programme plans.
 * Document compliance positions for
 NIS 2 and RED
 directives and support SRA delivery.
 * Conduct Cloud Security GRC deep-dives, document GRC-driven positions, and identify opportunities to strengthen Cloud Security Posture.
Qualifications & Experience
 * 5–7+ years in
 Information Security
 .
 * Strong knowledge of
 Cloud Security, Risk Management, and Compliance
 .
 * 5+ years of
 hands-on security experience
 with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
 * Experience working in a
 GRC function
, overseeing large-scale Cloud implementations.
 * Proven ability to design and implement
 control frameworks
 .
 * Experience identifying security deficiencies in information systems and recommending mitigating controls within a corporate environment.
 * CREST certification (e.g. CRT – CREST Registered Penetration Tester, CCT INF – Certified Infrastructure Tester, or CCT APP – Certified Web Application Tester)
 is highly desirable, as it demonstrates advanced, hands-on technical expertise.
