About The Team And Role
The role of Finance Analyst in Cork is part of a global Revenue and Billing team, with team members spread across India, Amsterdam, Cork and Cayman Islands. The team supports master data maintenance, billing, revenue recognition and cash application for our global operations via Oracle Fusion, as well as working with our functional and IT support teams on several ad hoc enhancement projects.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
* Master data entry and maintenance of our 40,000+ customer records on our Oracle ERP system
* Monthly review of a defined list of data integrity checks for data validation, cleansing, housekeeping for our customer contact and billing information
* Assist the billing and cash application teams during peak periods with processing billing requests, invoice generation, fee updates and cash application
* This role will involve being a key player in test cycles for all enhancement projects to our ERP system, billing systems, AR and Master Data Portals, as well as regression testing and disaster recovery testing
* Assist with the periodic review and update of internal finance training manuals under the Revenue & Billing function, as well as all business facing user manuals, training videos, wiki pages
* Collaborate on the global external audit with Deloitte on all Revenue & Billing related queries, triage and answer all interim and year end audit requests
* Other miscellaneous projects as required as part of the larger Finance team
Qualifications
About You:
* Have a background in Accounting or Finance
* Third level qualification or relevant work experience
* Fluency in English (written and oral)
* Attention to details and quality
* Skilled user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) is required
* Experience with Oracle Fusion would be a distinct advantage
* Good communication and teamwork skills
