Senior Project Manager – Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll Implementation
Job Description:
A large public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the upgrade and implementation of a new Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll System. This is a 6-12 month contract role based in Dublin. Hybrid work model.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end implementation and upgrade of Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll Systems.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR, and finance to ensure smooth project execution.
* Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and deliverables to align with organisational goals.
* Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
* Liaise with third-party vendors, technical teams, and business units to ensure seamless integration.
* Ensure compliance with relevant public sector standards, governance, and policies.
* Manage project budgets, reporting, and resource allocation effectively.
* Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Experience Required:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record in IT system implementations.
* Experience managing large-scale Oracle eBusiness Suite Payroll System projects or other large scale ERP Payroll Systems.
* Proven ability to manage projects in complex public sector environments.
* Strong background in stakeholder engagement and vendor management.
* Experience handling project governance, risk management, and reporting at a senior level.
* Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
* Understanding of public sector procurement and compliance frameworks.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in IT, finance, and HR.
Educational Requirements:
* Third-level degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
